I cannot resist painting Sunflowers while here in Paris, just up the street from where van Gogh himself lived with his brother. This unique work was created in an impulse in the early morning hours by candle light. Five suns is a playful, jaunty exploration of a subject with such a joyful innocence that one can’t help themselves but smile.
