Do Good, Feel Good

Art has the power to heal—and it’s healed me. Every year, I donate a one-of-a-kind artwork to a small business doing good work in the community as a gesture of love, justice, and collective healing. Through this act, I offer not just my time and materials, but a symbol of beauty and hope to people and communities in need.

Now, I invite you to be part of this mission. Your donation will help bring more art, more flowers, and more moments of healing into the world. Together, we can spread love and inspire lasting change—one piece at a time.

2023 Donation Recipient

The painting Any Girl Can Be A Giant (2023) was donated to the Maya Angelou House in Amsterdam. The Maya Angelou House is a shelter for undocumented women and children. With this donation, I hope to shed light on their mission. They are doing fantastic work offering all residents a house of safety, rest, nurturing, and agency-inspiring experiences.

2026 Donation Recipient

Two paintings, originally featured in the world famous 10 × 10 Exhibition at Jackson Junge Gallery in Chicago, IL, USA, were donated to Coach House Canine Sanctuary in Chicago, IL. I chose this woman-owned organization for the personal story behind its inception and for the words the owner recently shared with me after overcoming difficulty: I knew if I persisted, beauty would come. I would overcome. Creating the life I find joy in everyday. A life of calm with beautiful persistence growing wild and free without hesitation. When I look at your paintings I know that’s possible. The white walls and simplicity of the space allow your art to come alive. Just as the vibrant plants bask in the sunlight from the skylight so do the flowers in your paintings adding to the safety and comfort of the sanctuary. If you’re in the Chicago area and would like to support this business, please visit their website for more information.

2024 Donation Recipient

A portion of painting What Beautiful Things Can Grow (2024) was donated to Manos Ocupadas con Causa in Mexico City (& beyond). Manos Ocupadas con Causa connects women in the ageing community with each other and their neighbours so they won’t be alone. The women in Manos create crafts & then sell the pieces to raise funds that can go to necessary and sometimes life-saving activities like surgery for women in need.

2025 Donation Recipient

The painting La vie est belle (2025) was donated to the Kennedy Street Recovery Center in Brighton, England. Kennedy Street Recovery is a peer-led charity dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from addiction. The organization offers a range of services designed to help people reclaim their lives and build sustainable recovery and we are so excited to contribute to this mission.
